that´s the game. You could say: I like the batting in baseball, but the running ruins it... and at least the dA link is somehow important to protect it from ripping. I´ve no problem with derivates created of it, but with such a protection its harder for anyone to grab it and present it as a work of his/her own. But I might build a version without the logo and the name, I´ve there are more requests for it... i´m such a egomaniac

that's not even close in comparison, in fact, just stupid. there are a lot of great artists here on dA that make splendid wallpapers without ruining them with crappy stuff like name tagging and such. what's the point in creating wallpapers that people won't use? about protection, yes it's more "protected", but again, what's the point when nobody's going use your wp? anyway, it's just my 5 cents, keep tagging'em if you want, they will just go unused.
No, if you keep going adding your 5 cents steadily, you might end up with a dollar see me as a egomaniac, trying to push my selfesteem with crappy, uninspired wallpapers tagged with my nick... The thing is, that people seem to be downloading it, wether you would use it or not. I myself have no problems with using goodlooking wallpapers that are "tagged". Thats the great thing about dA, you can search for Art you like, or you can make it yourself. And obviously 154 people liked it so much that they downloaded it, wich is the best result I ever made with a wallpaper/pack.
We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. but what ruins the whole wallpaper is:
-the logo
-your name
-dA link
